Case Study: The 24/7 Crisis Helpline
Challenge: Women experiencing domestic violence often have no safe way to report abuse, especially outside of business hours when crises are most likely to occur.
Intervention: We established a 24/7, toll-free Crisis Support Centre (CSC) staffed by trained counselors. The CSC provides immediate counseling, arranges for emergency shelter, and connects survivors with legal aid and police support.
Outcome: In the last year, the helpline has successfully fielded over 6,000 calls, leading to 150+ emergency retrievals and a 40% increase in women accessing formal legal channels. It has become a trusted, confidential lifeline for women in distress.
Case Study: Adolescent Empowerment Workshops
Challenge: Young girls in marginalized communities often drop out of school due to a lack of resources, societal pressure, and low self-confidence, perpetuating a cycle of poverty.
Intervention: We partnered with local schools to conduct workshops on topics like digital literacy, financial independence, and personal health. We created a 'safe space' mentorship program connecting girls with women leaders in the community.
Outcome: Participants in the program have a 60% higher school retention rate compared to the area average. Over 200 girls have enrolled in higher education or vocational training in the last three years.
